Let me introduce myself. My name is Rachel Collins, I'm 18 and I am a first year student of the philological faculty at Moscow State University. My major is Spanish phonetics, so in the future I will become a Spanish teacher. As for my character traits, my friends say that I am emotional and communicative. Sometimes I can be distracted especially when I have a lot of things to do.
I have been fond of languages, particularly Spanish and German since my early childhood. I studied them at school vhen I was very little. I remember that I even tried to teach my parents how to speak Spanish when I was at school - that is how I was impressed by language. Also my father is originally German that is why he started to speak German with me since I made my first steps. Thus, I can say that I know German as my second native language and Spanish is my passion.
This year I have chosen my professional path and I am very grateful that my family supported my choice.
Now I live alone, but when I went to school I lived with my parents. Speaking of my family, I don't have brothers or sisters. My parents have technical background and they are both scientists. My father likes to go fishing and usually I go with him. As for my mother, she is a very calm and kind person. We love spending time together although nowadays it doesn't happen very often.
To sum up, my family is the most important thing in my life, and I know who I want to be!
