The article analyses the precedent names most commonly used in contemporary media and discourse, originating from Bulgarian fairy tales. It mainly explores the significance of case names, which can reveal the contents and meanings of a story and give distinctive qualities to its characters. In the analytical section, the article examines how these precedent names are used in Bulgarian media discourse, highlighting their primary functions.
