I would like to chose the period of the Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, its features, the formation of the internal German agenda and foreign policy discourse (issues of Western integration and the unification of Germany).I will consider critical issues of German historiography on Stalin's proposal (skeptics or missed opportunities). It's an intriguing angle to examine how Adenauer's policies navigated these proposals and their impact on Germany's path towards integration and unity in the future...
It sounds like a very good topic to focus on skepticism and missed opportunities regarding the Stalin proposal and how Adenauer navigated that. At the beginning of the paper, I suggest to include somewhere a definition / theory of leadership (either from the texts we read or from other texts) and evaluate whether Adenauer displayed leadership in the episode (or not) given the specific definition / theory you chose.
