Вы должны подчеркнуть слова из модуля, используемые в вашей письменной работе. Другие файлы (Glossary file, Grammar file, Email structure file) могут помочь Вам при выполнении данного заключительного задания Final Task 3.
Writing task
You are going to write ONE email.
Choose an email type from the list below, that you are going to use:
• Email, where you make first contact with a company or a business partner;
• Email, where you make a request for something;
• Email, where you try to follow something up;
• Email, where you book or buy something;
• Email, where you confirm or complain about something.
While writing your email USE:
- appropriate vocabulary (see the Glossary file);
- active grammar (see the Grammar file), use at least ONE sentence with a conditional structure;
- appropriate clichés and email structure (see the Email structure file)
Write 140-200 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Identify the email type, that you have chosen, and then proceed with the SUBJECT LINE.
Writing criteria
If the student's submitted work contains:
- prohibited information;
- personal data of third parties that violate the legislation of the Russian Federation;
- someone else's text or extract and is issued as their own;
- unacceptable, profanity words;
- content that offends the honor and dignity of third parties, educational institution, country
it is not assessed and is given 0 points.
For the writing task a student can get the maximum of 15 points:
Content – from 1 to 5 points;
Organisation – from 1 to 5 points;
Language – from 1 to 5 points.
A student gets 0 points if he did not do the writing task at all or if he submits a writing with totally irrelevant content.
Content of the submitted writing is relevant to the task (from 1 to 5 points):
• The submitted writing is an email of a certain type (chosen from the task);
• The aim of communication is achieved;
• The submitted writing consists of 140-200 words.
Organisation of the submitted writing is comprehensive, connected and coherent. Ideas are clear. The linking words and the structure are appropriate (from 1 to 5 points):
• The email structure is appropriate;
• The clichés are appropriate;
• The ideas are organized in accordance to the register.
Language of the submitted writing focuses on vocabulary, grammar and spelling (from 1 to 5 points):
• The vocabulary is appropriate (active vocabulary of the module is used);
• The grammar is appropriate (active grammar of the module is used);
• The spelling is appropriate.
Slips and errors might be present. The important thing is whether the errors impedecommunication or not.
