Argument Essay

This is an extract from a letter to the State Duma:
The Russian business community, especially in higher positions, needs better female representation. Norway is an excellent example of a female-friendly business environment. It introduced a 40% quota of non-executive female directors in companies. Anecdotal evidence shows that the new boards are more dynamic, more open and more innovative than the old ones. Harvard professors have also researched 300 American companies and have revealed that employees trust female executives more and such companies showed better performance during the recent crisis. This proves that a measure similar to the Norwegian one should be taken in Russia.
