Media Literacy — Obstacles and how to overcome them

It is generally accepted that an information problem exists when it comes to the consumption of mass media content in today's society. This can largely be attributed to an information glut (overload) brought about by electronic media — with the result that it has become a challenge to determine what is true, meaningful, useful, valid, etc. Based on first three chapters, write an essay of between 1 000 and 1 500 words in which you share your insights into the obstacles that audiences have to overcome in their efforts to make them more media literate.
