As you know during this course you will have to write 2 essays. The CommTheory team and I apologize for misinforming you by my colleague. Please pay attention to the current assessment criteria, grading, as well as the weight of each essay.
Each one will be evaluated by 10 points.
Be careful, both essays make up 0.5 of the total score for this block. The maximum you can get for both essays is 10 points.

Required length: 1000 words.
The first essay will help you to understand the structure of your research paper (да, КУРСОВАЯ). In this essay you will answer the following questions:
- What is your research about?
- What are the main hypotheses, goals and objectives? What is the research question? What is its methodology?
- Which model describes communication in your research best: linear, transactional, or interactive?
* If communication is linear, you usually focus on content. If the communication is transactional, then you
usually focus on the process itself. If there is interaction, the focus is on creating meaning.
- Which of the 7 communication paradigms is used in your research? What is the main component of communication that your research focuses on?
- Which theory is behind the description of the nature of communication in your research: objective or interpretative?
Evaluation criteria:
1. Type of research (objective/interpretative) the section should:
Be based on the principle of statement-argumentation;
Outline what the study is in accordance with the typology;
Provide an argument with links to research design;
Contain a reference to epistemological grounds.
2. The main communication models in the research part should:
Be based on the principle of statement-argumentation;
Describe what research is in accordance with the communication model;
Provide an argument with links to the grounds to explain how this is done
the communication process is considered through your research;
Give an example where you deconstruct the communication process from your research.
3. Paradigm of the study (in accordance with the typology of Crags) section should:
Be built on the principle of statement-argumentation;
Outline what the study is in accordance with the typology;
Provide an argument with links to research design.
4. The language should be as follows:
Free from language errors (grammar, vocabulary, punctuation);
Free from emotional language, publicistic style;
Follow academic standards (huge, largely, things, people).
Avoid repetitions.
5. The structure must:
Be logical, consistent and consistent: all elements correspond to each other;
Contain all the necessary elements;
The theoretical grounds must be clearly disclosed.
