уть задания: You are assigned to apply key concepts of Finance to the analysis of assets of a Russian public company from MoEX

1. Choose the company listed in MoEX or RTS. Report on your choice to the professor responsible for seminars in your group.

2. Perform the analysis of the company, including:

- the history,

- operating activities (industry, market, key competitors in Russia and in a global scope),

- assets and liabilities, financial results for last three years (reported and audited),

- distribution of shareholders' equity (major shareholders, where shares are traded).

3. Choose one of the financial instruments that the company publicly uses: shares, bondes, notes etc. Define its main features

4. Analyxe the dynamics of this tool on the market for the observable period (for shares and bonds - last three years unless the more fresh information is only available)

5. Compare yields with the index, explain the differences.

6. Make your judgements on reasonability to include this asset in your investment portfolio.

7. Create the written report containing all above mentioned points (not more than 15 pages). The outline should meet generally accepted requirements to academic papers
